Before & Afterschool Program
In its Before & Afterschool program, Hope Child Development Center ensures that families have continuous care throughout the school year. We ensure that your child is cared for in a safe and structured environment, where (s)he is provided a nutritious snack, is led in a daily bible lesson that teaches and reinforces the values of good citizenship and is supported with homework. If no homework is given, our staff will provide children with activities that reinforce the grade-level skills and knowledge within the areas of reading, writing and/or math. For those days that the schools are closed for holidays, professional development or snow days, Hope CDC provide full day care or full week care for families in our Drop In program, thereby affording our families quality, security and peace of mind.
With a small group of 20 children and 2 adults, our Summer Camp program engages children in enrichment activities that inspire them to explore their surroundings, challenge them to try new experiences and instill an attitude of personal excellence, empathy & dignity through the teaching of Christian principles & values. We involve children in a wide range of activities which include trips to Ct Science Museum, classes at the Creative Arts Workshop & Eli Whitney Museum, Bowling, Swimming, Cooking and our end of summer trip to CoCo Key Water Resort. Our summer program begins at the end of the school year and runs to the beginning of the new school year. Our weekly tuition covers the full cost of the program with no additional cost for classes or trips.
